Villa La Consuma  

A historic family villa, in front of the medieval castle of the small town of San Giovanni d'Asso where you can indulge in the sun and tranquility while admiring the spectacle of the sinuous Tuscan hills reddened by poppies or gilded by ripe wheat.

Enjoy a good read in the large hanging garden perfumed by roses and jasmine, sipping a drink or enjoying dinner on the beautiful terrace or swim in the tranquility of the villa's private pool while the swallows drink just skimming the water.

 

Let yourself be enchanted by the dawn that will amaze you with the magical colors of the Crete Senesi.

 

The villa, hidden from view, a short distance from the shops and comforts offered by the town, is laid out on two levels and can accommodate up to 16 people.

 

From the entrance, you can reach the hanging garden with fenced in a pool or, with just a few steps up find yourself on the ground floor, which leads you to the dining room opening onto the large terrace overlooking the garden.

 

 In the spacious adjacent dining room, you can enjoy the warmth of a large and ancient fireplace and access the fully equipped kitchen to prepare the typical products of the area to be enjoyed accompanied by one of the famous wines of our area (Brunello, Orcia Rosso).

 

 A large living room with beautiful coffered ceilings and original tile floor will offer you a refuge for a good reading break, as well as the more cozy lounge next to it equipped with satellite TV.  On the same floor, there are three spacious bedrooms with elegant period furnishings, each with en suite bathroom.

 

On the mezzanine there is a bedroom with scenic views of the castle and its surroundings, furnished with imposing antique furniture, where the beds can be joined on request, the room is also equipped with air conditioning and the bathroom only a few steps away.

 

 On the first floor you can enjoy breathtaking views from all the windows: on one side the Italian garden, on the other on the XII century castle; there are three spacious elegantly furnished double bedrooms, a bedroom with two single antique handmade iron beds, a sitting room, three bathrooms: the ideal space for a large family where everyone can find their own peaceful spot. There is air conditioning also on this floor.

 

Villa La Consuma can also be joined to Casa Capanna via a gate in the garden. Thus becoming suitable for a total of 22 people.
